I rarely write poems - if only by something that touched me deeply inspired. This is my only daughter - Ashley Shannon. And if there are two things that arouse feelings in me are my daughter and my son. Well, my child is not so little anymore. Bride. As my children grew, it was basically the 3 of us against the world. But we have it - together. And now has a boyfriend, that she would soon marry, making him an official part of our family. I loveand want the best for them, even if my eyes will always be my baby. So I wrote this morning of his wedding shower to go to their paper and read it, because they could not do it loudly. Only a few have remained dry-eyed after reading this small and simple set of verses. It will always be "My Ashley."
My Ashley
My beloved daughter, Ashley,
I want to know,
His life takes, wherever you
My Heart Will Go too.
When Iknew you would come,
It 'was a wonderful night!
But little I knew, my son,
She was my guiding light.
I held her and I raised you,
The pain of life away Kisses;
But now there's another
begins with the wedding day.
To go in the world, my love,
Hunting and all of you the joy.
Remember, you are still my dear Ash.
I'm just sharing with you, that man.
I wish you all the life, happiness, love,
But nowanother.
But always remember - never forget
No one will ever love you ... like your mother.
Best wishes with all my heart, Mom
